Yuvraj Singh, the former World Cup winner has become quite an outspoken figure after bidding adieu to international cricket. Amid COVID-19 outbreak, like his former teammate Harbhajan Singh, the southpaw also came forward in support of Shahid Afridi through his Twitter handle and said that it is a tough time for everyone. He added that everyone should join hands and support the less fortunate people.
Moreover, he requested everyone to donate to Shahid Afridi foundation in the fight against Coronavirus. His post read,” These are testing times, it’s time to look out for each other especially the ones who are lesser fortunate. Lets do our bit, I am supporting @SAfridiOfficial & @SAFoundationN in this noble initiative of covid19. Pls donate on donatekarona.com #StayHome.”
Soon after that, the Indian fans lashed out at the southpaw for supporting the former Pakistani all-rounder, who is a big critic of India’s way handling of the Kashmir dispute.
