MS Dhoni, the former Indian skipper doesn’t speak much in public domain but these days his name is enough to attract any type of controversy. After lockdown, many cricketers like Suresh Raina, Gautam Gambhir, Virat Kohli, and many others donated hefty amounts to PM-Cares relief fund in order to support the government in the fight against Coronavirus.

Meanwhile, everyone’s eyes were set on Dhoni that how much amount he will contribute as an individual. Suddenly, news began making rounds in the media that the 38-year-old donated Rs 1 Lakh to a charitable trust. Soon, all the focus was shifted towards MS Dhoni and he had to face the wrath of the fans for making such a small donation.

Later on, his wife Sakshi Dhoni came forward and asked all the media houses to stop spreading false news regarding his husband and former Indian skipper. She took to her official Twitter handle and wrote, “I request all media houses to stop carrying out false news at sensitive times like these! Shame on You! I wonder where responsible journalism has disappeared.”
