He had an excellent debut season in the IPL as he scored 154 runs at a strike rate of 158.94 for the <a href="https://www.crictracker.com/rajasthan-royals-all-rounder-rahul-tewatia-gets-engaged/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Rajasthan Royals.</a> Hooda’s big hitting ability and tidy off-spin as a 6th bowler was just what the Indian team needed at the time and hence, he was hyped up as a player to watch out for.
He hasn’t been particularly great since then and has fallen down the pecking order. However, he still has age on his side as he is just 25 years old and a couple of good campaigns in the IPL will push him back into national contention.
