Chris Broad was an opening batter who played from the period of 1984 to 1989 for England. The left-hander played 25 Tests and 34 ODIs in his international career in which he scored seven centuries. The 64-year-old had a fantastic first-class career with 50 centuries and 105 fifties.
Post-retirement, Chris worked as a broadcaster for BBC TV. He is currently serving as a match referee. On the other hand, his son Stuart Broad has become a legend of the game already. Stuart, 36 years old now, has played 156 Tests, 121 ODIs, and 56 T20Is since his international debut in 2006 for England and has 19 five-wicket hauls in Tests to his name as well.
With 552 wickets to his name Stuart is among the top wicket-takers in the history of Test cricket and he alongside James Anderson has been among the most destructive new ball pairs in Test history. He is no longer part of the limited overs setup with the new look English side. However, he still has a lot to offer.
