Bond was a sensational pacer who could bowl at an intense rapid pace but he missed out more games than the number of games he played during his career. Bond had played limited amount of Cricket since he reached the age of 30 and had to forcefully announce his retirement from international cricketing spheres at the age of 35 with a decent amount of cricket left in him. 2. In fact, held the safest pair of hands behind the stumps. Unfortunately, during a practice match against one of the English clubs, Boucher was hit in the eye by the bails which ricocheted off the stumps, after the ball dislodged them off. As a result of which, he had to step aside from his cricketing career as the injury was severe and needed the sacrifice. Boucher played his last international match in 2012 and retired with 999 international dismissals. 3. Saba Karim: Saba Karim. He made his international debut back in 1996 but his cricketing career was cut short when a ball bowled by Anil Kumble was hit his eyes. Saba managed to play just 34 ODIs for India before his career was ended due to the eye injury. Injury posed a massive threat to his cricketing career and destroyed it in the process. 4. He was forced to retire from all forms of cricket at the age of 32 owing to his tormenting knee and ankle injuries.
