Sunil Narine is a Trinidadian cricketer who plays for the Windies. His main skill is to bowl off-spin, but he is also an aggressive left-handed batsman. He made his ODI debut in 2011 and Test debut in 2012. He is one of the mystery bowlers of today’s generation and his variations make it very difficult for the batsmen to pick him.

He was barred from bowling in the Champions League T20 final on account of a suspect bowling action in 2014. As a result, he withdrew his name from the Windies World Cup squad for 2015 because he was not confident bowling with his changed action. In the 2019 World Cup, he was not considered by the team management due to his finger injury which he had sustained during IPL 2019. He has played 65 ODIs for the Windies in which he has taken 92 wickets at an impressive average of 26.47. The best part is his economy rate which is only 4.13 and is excellent as per today’s scenario.
