The Royal Challengers Bangalore had a relatively better season last year. The men in red managed to reach the playoffs last season but were knocked out by the Sunrisers Hyderabad. One of the major factors for the team’s failure has been the over-dependency on Virat Kohli and ABD. Even though they have single-handedly managed to drag the team out of trouble multiple times, others have failed.

One of the vital players in their squad was Adam Zampa. The leg-spinner was roped in by the management as an option for Chahal. However, Zampa could not make an impact this year. During the thirteenth season of the Indian Premier League, he took only 2 wickets with an economy rate of 8.36. Although the economy rate was manageable, the fact that he took only 2 wickets is not acceptable.

However, he had a fantastic BBL season. Zampa took 19 wickets in 12 marches. He had an excellent economy rate of 7.35 and had the best bowling figure of 5-17. A strike rate of 14.30 speaks volumes about his caliber as a T20 specialist. Therefore, we might witness franchises playing a game of tug of war to include Zampa in their squad. Therefore, he makes it to this list of 5 flops in IPL 2020 who did well in BBL 2020-21.
