Josh Philippe is another member of the RCB squad who makes it to this list. The youngster was included in the playing eleven regularly during the initial phases of the tournament, Known for his fluent batting, Josh opened the batting with Aaron Finch. However, the duo failed to make promising starts for the team. The opening failure meant there was pressure on the middle order batsmen and hence, they choked.

During the last season, Josh scored only 78 runs with a strike rate of 101.29. This was never enough for Josh to cement his place in the playing eleven. Subsequently, he was dropped and could not make a return to the squad. Adding on, the management decided to release him ahead of the 2021 IPL auction.

Well, he had a turnaround tournament in the BBL for the Sydney Sixers. He was a member of the champion team that went on to defeat Perth in the final. In 16 innings, Josh scored 508 runs with an impressive strike rate of 149.41. Apart from that, he had an average of 31.75, which means because of him, the Sixers had terrific starts!
