One of the finds of the IPL, Andre Russell is a one-man wrecking crew who has the ability to snatch the game away from the opposition with a mere moment of brilliance or shall we say sheer strength. The Carribean superman is one of the cleanest hitters of the ball and has helped KKR on one too many occasions with his mercurial slogging prowess.

Dre Russ might have become a household name but not so long ago, the flamboyant all-rounder spent most of his time away from the national side due to his inconsistency and below-par performances

Russell made his international debut in 2011 but never really cemented his place in the side. After his ouster from the national side in 2015, Russell played just one ODI for West Indies until the 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup.

2019 witnessed the best Russell as the dynamic West Indian mauled even the fiercest of bowling attacks with ease and gave the Indian crowds a lot to cheer about. His thunderous knocks led to his inclusion in West Indies’ World Cup squad.
