Rahul Dravid has always served the Indian cricket in trying times be it on the field or off the field. The right-hander was one of the players who thrived under pressure as many of India’s famous victories coincides with his batting brilliance. Fondly known as the Wall of Indian cricket Dravid has accumulated more than 24,000 runs in his international expedition.

He has often received praise from around the globe for his integrity and attitude towards the game and that’s why he can be called Captain Marvel of gentlemen’s game. When the former Indian skipper bid farewell in 2012 it was an emotional moment for all the cricket lovers. Soon he continued his services by shaping the future stars of Indian cricket but all this time his son, Samit Dravid also started taking baby steps in his cricketing sojourn.

In 2015 he was awarded the Best Batsman in a U-12 competition named Gopalan cricket challenge. After a couple of years, he had again made headlines for stroking 150 in a U-14 tournament. The youngster has the best guide in the form of his father and if he follows his footsteps then the world cricket will be blessed with another cricketing genius.
