Highest Team Scores in IPL from 2008 to 2025

India's biggest T20 festival, the Indian Premier League, is here to entertain fans for nearly two months. The league has witnessed some incredible team performances, with jaw-dropping totals that truly showcase the explosive nature of the format. The highest team total in IPL history so far has been achieved by Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), who scored a mind-boggling 287/3 against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) on April 15, 2024.
Earlier in the same season, on March 27, 2024, SRH had set a record by posting 277 runs against Mumbai Indians, which they later surpassed with their 287-run innings. They also made merry against Delhi Capitals when they finished with 266 in 2024. Another notable team total includes Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) scoring 272/7 against Delhi Capitals in the same IPL edition. More recently, SRH once again set the stage on fire with a massive 286/6 against Rajasthan Royals in Hyderabad on March 23, 2025. Additionally, RCB had previously set a stellar team total of 263/5 against the now-defunct Pune Warriors India in 2013.
These monumental batting efforts highlight the dominance of batting heavyweights on flat pitches, where stars like Travis Head and Chris Gayle rose to the occasion to thoroughly entertain the crowd.
