R Sai Kishore
Sai Kishore is a relatively unknown figure in the Indian domestic cricketing circles. It was only a couple of years ago that he made his debut for Tamil Nadu and has slowly gone on to become a regular in all three formats, more so in the shorter ones.
The left-arm spinner has been very impressive in this season. From seven games, Kishore picked up 11 wickets at an average of 19.27 in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. He had an economy of 4.38. Meanwhile, in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, Kishore is the leading wicket-taker with 20 scalps. He has an average of 10.40 and strikes once every two overs as well.
Despite being a finger spinner, he has found quite a bit of success. He even has a good record in domestic cricket in white-ball formats. Thus, Kishore might well be knocking on the Indian team’s door.
