Viswanath’s effervescent 222 against England in the year 1982 will go down as one of the greatest knocks played by the right-handed batting legend in his Test career. In a 374-ball classic, Viswanath scored 31 fours and helped India declare their first innings with their scorecard reading 481/4. The match ended in a draw.
