2. Kedar Jadhav

Kedar Jadhav first rose to fame on his Indian Premier League debut, playing for the Delhi Daredevils. Sehwag, the then captain of DD gave this young man a chance. He scored a terrific fifty against the mighty Royal Challengers Bangalore. This shot him to fame though not immediately but after toiling in domestic cricket Jadhav was picked up by the Indian team four years later.

He has turned out to be a superb number six batsman for India. After touring Zimbabwe twice, he had an opportunity to prove himself against England earlier this year which he grabbed with both hands and was named as Man of the Series. IPL surely played a hand in bringing this player up through the ranks.
