Yash Dhull is the captain of the side and he is the player with the most expectations. His batting style suits all three formats and he looks very promising. He was also named the nations’ skipper for the 2021 ACC U19 World Cup.

He looked in fine form in the 2021-22 Vinoo Mankad Trophy scoring 302 runs in five games for DDCA. These performances made way for him in the U19 World Cup squad. Unfortunately, the Delhi batter tested positive for COVID-19 just before India’s second game against Ireland and was out for the next two games.

He scored 82 against South Africa in India’s first game of the campaign. He scored 50* and 52 in the practice matches against Australia and West Indies respectively. Historically, the India Under-19 captains have always been sold for crores, so, Yash Dhull also has a chance to get a good deal.
