Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli are two of the cricketing geniuses of this era. Currently, both the players have been setting new records with their batting prowess. They have also led the Blue team on several occasions. All in all, they have successfully become two of the biggest superstars of Indian cricket and their record speaks for themselves.

In the last two years, both of them have been hogging the limelight for their match-winning performances. However, the situation was quite different when the team was battling it out in an ODI series against West Indies in 2018. Though Kohli and Rohit were piling on centuries they headlined the newspapers for wrong reasons. Their names got associated with the ugly term, spot-fixing.

Yes, it is true as the Al Jazeera documentary unveiled some shocking truths. According to the hour-long video many international games have been fixed in this decade. Besides it also contained photos of many high-profile cricketers with alleged match-fixer, Aneel Munawar.

Among them, his photos with two senior players of the Indian team, Virat and Rohit created a huge uproar in the media. Straight away rumours started doing the rounds that they are involved in some sort of illegal activities. Without much evidence, two high-rated players were accused of spot-fixing which later proved to be baseless allegations.
