This happened a few days ago. It took place on Friday, April 23 during the match between Mumbai Indians and Punjab Kings. Rohit Sharma was again caught abusing the umpire.
After being asked to bat first, MI&#8217;s skipper <a href="https://www.crictracker.com/ipl-2021-brian-lara-worried-for-rohit-sharmas-mumbai-indians-after-indifferent-start-to-their-sojourn/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"> Sharma</a> was wrongly given out and went on to review the decision. The third umpire asked the on-field umpires and thus, he was not out. However, the MI opener was seemingly angry at the decision as he visibly abused the umpires.
He was frustrated because the ball didn&#8217;t touch his bat and instead, the reviews showed that the ball came off the shirt. As he was unhappy with the decision, he showed dissent towards the on-field umpire&#8217;s decision. This resulted in many people trolling Rohit Sharma on various social media platforms.
