The Western Australia pacer, Tye is known for executing his slow ball variations perfectly in the final overs. Ashwin handed the ball to Tye for bowling the 18th over, and the first ball was a gentle full toss on the pads which cost him 4 runs from the willow of Marcus Stoinis. He backed his skills and again bowled a wide slow ball which was guided to the backward point for a boundary. Tye outsmarted his country fellow in the third ball, but the fielder dropped the skier and a single was taken which brought AB de Villiers to the strike.

The bowler was frustrated and dished out a wide length ball which was slapped by ABD, and the ball sailed over the extra cover fence. After giving away too many boundaries the pacer bowled a full ball on the stumps which was stopped by the fielder at extra cover, but he couldn’t prevent a single. The last ball of the over was an overpitched one which resulted into a brace. Tye bowled an expensive over as he was unable to execute his skills when the team needed him the most.

Death overs are the most difficult ones for the bowlers because the batsmen are trying to hit each ball out of the park. In IPL there are various bowlers who can execute their skills under pressure but sometimes even the best cannot stand up for the team and may cost the game.
