Last year, the Chennai Super Kings struggled because of a lack of intent from its players. Fatigue, poor running between the wickets affected the team’s performance as they were kicked out of the tournament.

Well, last year, it was the Chennai Super Kings, this year, it might affect some other teams too! To shed this off, the X Factor rule should be implemented to save their match. An X-Factor player is named as either the 12th or 13th player on the team sheet.

He can come into the game beyond the 10th over of the first innings and replace any player who is yet to bat. This also includes the bowlers, as an X-Factor can also be used by the fielding side! Therefore, the X-Factor rule makes it to this list!
