Brian Lara, the left-handed former batsman from West Indies doesn’t need any introduction. He bid adieu to international cricket back in 2007. He is the only player in the world to score 400 runs in an innings of a Test match.

He also mustered bucketloads of runs throughout his illustrious career with many magnificent knocks. Lara mustered 11,953 runs in Tests and 10, 405 runs in ODIs with the help of 63 tons. He is the only player to have score 400 runs in an innings in Tests in the history of cricket.

However, the surprising fact is that he never got a single ton out of his 34 centuries at Lord’s. It was an unlucky ground for the former West Indies batsman, who could manage 126 runs in three matches with 54 being his best.
