Sachin Tendulkar is statistically the most successful batsman in the history of the game. No other batsman has more runs and hundreds than the little master. He’s got 100 international tons and the last one made him quite emotional.

Tendulkar had smashed a couple of hundreds in the 2011 World Cup and came close to reaching his 100th ton in the same tournament but couldn’t. He got a few more scores over fifty but just couldn’t get the job done. Almost a year after his 99th ton, Tendulkar finally got to the much-awaited landmark as he stroked a ton against Bangladesh in the Asia Cup in 2012.

The Mumbai cricketer was quite emotional when he got to the three-figure mark. He took 35 balls to move from 80 to 100 which shows how nervous he was. There were a few tears that Tendulkar shed after reaching the milestone.
