Twitter is a very fun place to be. It’s a great tool which helps famous names get into a direct connect with their fans. Cricketers also make utmost use of it and almost every prominent name has a presence on the social media platform.
This is where they give their opinions, troll naysayers, fulfill fan requests and not to forget also invite a bit of banter too sometimes. However, not every cricketer is highly active on the micro-blogging site. But, there are a handful of them (mostly our favorites) who are super active and keep us in touch with what’s happening in their lives and entertain!
1. Virender Sehwag:
One famous meme doing rounds these days in social media circle is that if tweeting would have been an Olympic sport; Virender Sehwag would claim a Gold every time. Sehwag, without any doubt, was one of the most outgoing and entertaining cricketers of our generation.
However, then the fans were yet to see his best avatar. His antics on Twitter are quite similar to his batting style with words like outgoing and exciting having a permanent place in his dictionary. After smashing bowlers all around the park during his playing days, Sehwag has turned into a Twitter celebrity post retirement and hits massive sixes with his tweets filled with wit and humor.
There is currently no one who better than him when it comes to wishing people on their birthdays. If he has a problem or has a point to justify he acknowledges it to his followers in hilarious style. Sehwag truly is one those people who live by their reputation.
Here’s are some of his tweets:
