The Rajasthan franchise has spent a fortune for the services of Jaydev Unadkat and the results have not been favorable. So its high time that they should invest in other options and their best bet will be Tom Curran. The Englishman has been going through a purple patch and it was evident from his recent efforts in the T20 blast where he scalped 17 wickets in 10 games.

Before that, he also remained in the top draw in the 8th edition of the BBL as he fished 20 wickets for Sydney Thunder. The 24-year old is rapidly rising through the ranks and he has already played close to 100 games in various T20 leagues. The right-arm pacer burst into the scene with his ability to generate pace and swing.

However, Tom has slowly become a well-rounded bowler. Especially nowadays he has become a death over specialist in the limited-overs format. His slow ball variations and yorkers have floored many batsmen around the world. Curran has the temperament to deliver in crunch situations and that’s why the Royals should include him in their squad.
