The Kiwi all-rounder is not only known for his priceless and amusing tweets but also his game-changing ability with both bat and the ball. Having resurrected his career from the brink of giving up the sport, Neesham almost carried the Black Caps to World Cup glory against England at the Lord’s, also known as the Home of Cricket.

For the second time in a year against familiar opponents, Neesham was part of yet another Super Over after conceding 15 runs off the last over. However, England overcame the Kiwis yet again to deny the latter in a relatively toned-down encounter. Nevertheless, the 29-year old’s stocks kept rising since the return to the national team’s plans.

With a compelling strike rate and bowling that can be a partnership breaker, he has established himself as one of the best all-rounders in the game. Having played for Delhi Daredevils (now Delhi Capitals) in 2014 in just four games, Neesham will most likely enter this time in the IPL auction as one of the hottest picks to go after.
