5 Players who deserved a chance in India's ODI and T20I squads for Australia tour
These five players should've been the part of the India's limited-overs teams for Australia tour.
3. Ishan Kishan
The young wicket-keeper batsman from Jharkhand Ishan Kishan was expected to be a big competitor to Rishabh Pant and Sanju Samson for the wicket-keeper slot. He currently plays for the Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League. After having two good IPL seasons in 2017 and 2018, he had a horrid 2019 season.
He did not start for MI in the 2020 edition as he was suffering from an injury. However, once he got his chance, he made full use of it. He has so far scored 298 runs in only nine matches at an average of 42.57 and a strike rate of 142.58. His performances often get overshadowed as he goes unnoticed in the star-studded Mumbai franchise.
Kishan has, in fact, has had a better season than Sanju Samson who has been picked in the T20I side. After having such a good IPL and impressing most, the attacking batsman would consider himself unlucky to miss out on a chance to break into the Indian Team.
