Umesh Yadav‘s selection has in the test team has also raised many eyebrows. The lad has been selected in the 15-man squad and will take part in the 2-match test series against the Windies. He is overall a good bowler, especially at home conditions, however, his performance doesn’t remain the same when he is handed the bowl in overseas conditions.

Yadav’s performance outside India has been a cause of concern for the Indian team. The speedster overall does well with red cherry when compared to the white ball, but sometimes starts bowling poor lengths, there too. Just recently in 2018, the 31-year old had a horrible outing whilst playing against the Aussies at Perth. Nevertheless, India is currently lacking resources and hence, Umesh has luckily been selected in the team and we hope that he does well.
