Tymal Mills – Royal Challengers Bangalore
Very few fans may remember the English left-arm fast bowler, Tymal Mills who had received a 12 Crores bid from Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL 2017 Auction. Mills had impressed a lot with his pace bowling during England’s T20I series against India hence, Bangalore spent 12 Crores to gain his services.
The fans billed him as a like-for-like replacement of Mitchell Starc however, Mills failed miserably in IPL 2017. Royal Challengers Bangalore finished at the bottom position in the 2017 points table and, Mills only played 5 matches for them.
He bowled 107 balls in those 5 games and took five wickets while conceding runs at an economy rate of 8.58. His numbers were below-par, thus, Royal Challengers Bangalore released from their squad and he has never returned to the cash-rich league ever since.
