5 Players who played for India recently but have been forgotten now
Team India is slated to participate in the 2022 T20 Asia Cup.
4. Rahul Chahar
After being one of the prominent members of the five-time champions Mumbai Indians (MI), leg-spinner Rahul Chahar finally got a chance to represent India at the highest level. The 23-year-old made his debut against West Indies in 2019 and has bowled decently for the Men in Blue.
Rahul played his last T20I game against Namibia in the 2021 T20 World Cup, but he could not perform well in the match and went wicketless. Chahar has also represented India in one ODI match against Sri Lanka in July 2021 as he scalped three wickets in the match.
The leg-spinner has performed decently for the Men in Blue but the likes of Ravindra Jadeja, Yuzvendra Chahal, and Axar Patel have made it tough for the bowler to remain in the Indian line-up. Chahar has scalped seven wickets in his six outings for the Men in Blue.
