Despite playing just 37 games in the IPL, Thisara Perera has played for six different teams. In fact, he’s played only six seasons and each season, he has been with a new team. It started with the Chennai Super Kings (CSK).

Perera was a part of the MS Dhoni-led side in the 2010 edition. However, he played just one game where he didn’t bat and in the only over he bowled, he conceded 19 runs. He was released only to be picked up by Kochi Tuskers Kerala in 2011. And when they weren’t a part of the IPL after just one season, it was Mumbai Indians’ turn to pick him.

However, Perera hardly made any contribution. He played two games, out of which he batted in twice and scored a four not out and zero not out. With the ball, he bowled 2.3 overs combined in the two games, conceding 27 runs.
