Dinesh Karthik is another player who has donned many jerseys in the history of IPL. He was a part of a plethora of franchises including Delhi Daredevils, Kings XI Punjab, Mumbai Indians, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Gujarat Lions. However, many people consider that donning the Kolkata Knight Riders&#8217; jersey in 2018 was the lucky move for Karthik as he got the recognition as a leader after this move.
Karthik was bought by the Kolkata franchise for the 2018 season of IPL, replacing <a href="https://www.crictracker.com/gautam-gambhir-donates-his-1-month-salary-and-rs-1-crore-from-mplad-fund-to-pm-cares-fund/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Gautam Gambhir</a>, and he proved his worth by steering them to the playoffs in his first season. Considering the experience, wicketkeeping skills and batting expertise that Karthik brings in, he has now become an integral part of the Kolkata-based franchise. In his new phase post his heroics in the Nidahas Trophy final, Karthik delivered impressive performances with the bat for KKR.
In 2018 season, he amassed 498 runs in 16 matches at an impressive average of almost 50 that included two half-centuries. Karthik hit the purple patch in the successive season too as he mustered 253 runs in 14 matches at an average of 31.62. Considering his batting exploits after moving to KKR, the right-hander is expected to do wonders in the upcoming season too.

Jaydev Unadkat recently had an impressive Ranji season where he steered his side Saurashtra to the trophy. However, due to the amount of money that IPL franchises have splurged on him over the years, he is considered lucky by many fans. Despite delivering in the domestic circuit, the pacer has failed to deliver impressive performances in the Indian Premier League, considering the hefty price tag attached to him.
In February 2016, Unadkat hogged the headlines after Kolkata Knight Riders splurged their highest bid (INR 160 lakhs) to secure the services of Unadkat. In the next edition, he grabbed the headlines yet again as it was Rising Pune Supergiants who invested in the left-arm pacer.
In the next season, he moved yet again, and it was <a href="https://www.crictracker.com/rajasthan-royals-react-after-ravichandran-ashwin-uses-mankad-incident-to-spread-awareness-about-coronavirus/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Rajasthan Royals</a> who spurged INR 11.5 crores to acquire the services of the pacer. He was the most expensive Indian buy in that auction. In the IPL 2020 auction, the Saurashtra pacer was bought for the ninth time in the history of IPL as he was bought by Rajasthan Royals for a sum of INR 3 crores.
Many people consider his lucky for the amount which franchises have invested to acquire his services in each IPL season. In 73 IPL matches, Unadkat has plucked 77 wickets at an economy over 8 that includes two five-wicket hauls.

Rayudu was a part of Mumbai Indians for a long period of time&#8211; 2010 to 2017&#8211; post which he shifted to Chennai Super Kings.
