Many fans remember Rayadu for his exclusion from the 2019 World Cup squad and the spectacle which happened post his omission. However, many believe that the right-hander to be lucky as he has donned the jersey of both Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings in his IPL career.
Rayudu was a part of Mumbai Indians for a long period of time– 2010 to 2017– post which he shifted to Chennai Super Kings. Despite not being an integral part of either of the franchises, Rayudu has managed to get hold of the silverware on four occasions. After clinching the IPL trophy with Mumbai Indians thrice, Raydu tasted success with CSK too as he lifted the silverware in his debut season with the MS Dhoni-led franchise.
Considering the number of controversies that Rayudu has been a part of in recent times, he certainly could be considered lucky to have tasted success in his IPL journey. In 147 IPL matches, Rayudu has mustered 3300 runs at an average of 28.69 that includes a ton and 18 half-centuries.
