1. Shaun Marsh – Kings XI Punjab
Shaun Marsh was the first batsman to win the Orange Cap award in the IPL. The left-handed Aussie remained a part of the Kings XI Punjab for a decade. His performances witnessed a dip as the years passed. However, in 2017, he had a decent season with the bat.
Marsh got a chance to bat in only eight innings of IPL 2017, where he scored 264 runs and finished the competition as his side’s third best batsman. Shaun’s strike rate was 136.08, while his batting average was 33.
Surprisingly, he did not get a contract from any other IPL team. Although he could not make it big at the international level, Marsh will always remembered as one of the best IPL players of all time. He scored 2,477 runs in 71 IPL games.
