Though the 5-match ODI series is tied at 2-2 but yet the English side has been in impeccable form and has outshined the hosts in the previous two encounters. Though you can never rule out Australia’s chances in any format of the game as these guys possess never say die attitude and their expertise in winning big games has never been a secret. His blazing innings of 71 and 50 runs in the 1st and 4th ODI respectively was the prime reason behind Australia’s big totals. In 4 matches of this series, Wade has stroked 164 runs at an average of 82 and strike-rate of 137. If he gets going, then English bowlers are set for severe hammering. 3. Cummin’s ability to clock the speed gun in the range of 90 mph with impeccable accuracy has proved too hot to handle for the English batsmen. Cummins has grabbed 12 wickets in 4 matches in this series at an average of 16.91 and economy of 5.34. Pat has all the ingredients of a successful fast bowler and if he gets into his lethal rhythm, he can wreck the English top-order and put them under serious pressure. 4. He knows the conditions of Manchester very well and with all the focus on Eoin Morgan, this little chap can turn the thunder in England’s favor as he knows how to get runs and pace his innings in the middle-overs. In the 3rd ODI his enterprising century included only 5 boundaries but he was able to anchor the innings and keep the scoreboard ticking. With 234 runs under his belt in the series at an average of 58.50, he is like the guy who doesn’t seem that threatening while playing but leaves behind painful wounds on the face of the opponents. 5. Moeen and Rashid have been the cog-wheel of the English bowling line-up against a team which is brutal against spin. They have complemented each other very well and have bowled well in tandem. The very fact that one is offie and the other is leggie also helps their cause. They would like to replicate their excellent efforts in the series decider as well.
