4. Jasprit Bumrah
Mumbai Indians need to be credited for finding and grooming this player, who has now become the deadliest of the bowlers in world cricket. In 2013, the team’s coach John Wright spotted potential in him. He was bought to the MI squad, from there he has taken rapid strides to come out at the top.
The 25-year-old has scalped 82 wickets in 77 games, at a decent economy of 7.55. He has single-handedly snatched victory from the jaws of defeat, through magnificent use of yorkers and slow bowling in the death overs, helping his team to defend the smallest of the totals. Though he is yet to win a purple cap, there is no match for him as far as consistency is concerned.
He has been the part of all the four MI squads, which won the IPL title. Undoubtedly, the Mumbai-based franchise would never like to let go of the services of this precious pacer.
