3. Herschelle Gibbs (To The Point):
Books should not be judged by its cover. This autobiography is total “Hersch”. He holds no barrier, just like his dominating batting. From booze to sex, rehab to lies, Gibbs has come out open in the greens with this masterpiece. He talks about the match fixing scandals and mentions Hansie Cronje, who in a few grubby deals (that we know of) destroyed his reputation forever, as “a man I will always admire” and “the best captain I ever played under”. In this book, Gibbs has done a commendable job when it comes to handling sensitive issues of South Africa cricket. Overall this book promises to leave you with a hangover for days.
