Having made his international debut only a month back, 28-year-old Junior Dala has emerged as an exciting new talent. The right-arm pacer Protean impressed one and all with his performance in the 3-match T20I series against India. In fact, his bowling prowess is said to have caught the Indian skipper, Virat Kohli‘s eye so much so that Kohli reportedly asked the team management of his IPL side, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) to bring Dala into the mix.

However, Dala went unsold in the auction and that might as well turn into a boon for the KKR, who can consider decking up their pace attack by drafting him into the team. The fiery speedster picked up 7 wickets at an average of 15.71 in the 3 matches he played against India in February 2018, where he consistently troubled the batsmen and went on to win the ‘Man of the Series’ award. Further, he’s also a part of the Durban Qalandars side in the T20 Global League, which is scheduled to take place later this year.
