The ever young wicket-keeper batsman has witnessed plenty of chopping and changes in his IPL career. He has been part of 6 different franchises namely Chennai Super Kings, Kochi Tuskers Kerala, Deccan Chargers, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Mumbai Indians. For most of his sides, he has featured in the playing XI as an opening batsman and yet in 113 matches has just 9 half-centuries in his stats.
Parthiv is known for his explosive batting from the outset. He certainly possesses skills to go after the bowling from the very first over but very rarely does he carry on to make a big one. The left-hander plays quickfire cameos at the start and provides a platform for the middle-order batsmen. But whether he has the temperament to notch up a hundred, still remains to be seen.
