2. Middle Order Collapse:
This is growing to be a severe issue for the Men in Blue. The middle order, in the likes of Kohli, Dhoni, Rahane, Rayudu and Raina did not manage to come good for the team and India lacked a decent partnership from the middle order. Despite the opening partnership contributed 95 runs in the first ODI, India went to lose 5 wickets for the score of just 128 runs on the board in the match. Also, in the second ODI, they were bundled with 193 runs on the board, owing to a batting failure from the middle order batsmen as a whole. Rayudu was selected as a replacement for Rahane in the second ODI but he managed to score a duck in the match.
