5 Reasons Why RCB can Beat RR in the Eliminator: We are all set for a cracker of a game between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Rajasthan Royals at the eliminator of Pepsi IPL 2015 at the MCA Stadium, Pune. Rain has been RCB’s counterpart for almost every game in the later half of the season. Quite unlikely, the weather forecast for today’s encounter speaks in favour of Cricket with negligible chances of rain playing a part in the match. After being choked out of the tournament prior to the play offs in the past couple of seasons, RCB stood out to be the third ranked team in this season and the Men In Red (occasionally Green) are up for making this season a triumphant one. Judging by the perspective of RCB, here are 5 reasons why the much awaited eliminator could well be tilted in favour of RCB.

A man with 5 IPL centuries and with 7362 T20 runs with the highest of 175* runs in an innings needs no introduction. Focusing on the present, the big Jamaican has scored a total of 423 runs in 12 matches this season with a century against KXIP. If this man gets going, the opposition can hardly do any trick to stop Gayle but praying for the best to happen. The left handed opening batsman is pretty much capable of hammering the balls and clearing the boundaries with sheer ease. A lot depends upon him for today’s encounter. And Christopher Henry Gayle has to come good for RCB in this knockout fixture.
