1. Arguably one of the best batting lineups in the tournament
Just read this fact. Between them, Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers, and Glenn Maxwell have scored 12860 runs, 88 fifties, and 8 centuries in the IPL. Also, throw in Devdutt Padikkal into the mix, and you arguably have the best top-order that any IPL side can have.
And, all these 4 men have been in good form for RCB in the 2021 edition of the IPL. Maxwell has led the way, scoring 223 runs at an average in excess of 35, while the legendary AB de Villiers has plundered 207 runs at an excellent average of 51.75 and a whopping strike rate of 164.28.
The iconic Virat Kohli has scored 198 runs in the tournament at a decent average of 33.00, while the talented Devdutt Padikkal has scored 195 runs at an average of 39.00 and a strike rate in excess of 150. And surely, it is the collective effort of RCB’s batsmen that has allowed Kohli and his men to experience a scintillating start to the tournament.
