Mr. Cricket, as he is popularly known as, Michael Hussey is one of the best left-handed batsmen the world has ever seen. Hussey announced his retirement way back in 2012 citing personal reasons. But the southpaw continues to play the domestic leagues and is still entertaining the same way. He recently sparkled the Big Bash League opener by hitting an unbeaten 80 of 59 balls to take his side Sydney Thunder to a win. A couple of weeks earlier, the Aussie was in New Zealand playing the Georgie Pie Super Smash for Canterbury against Central Districts. He scored a vital 41 there. He was also phenomenal with his 56 against Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL this year. Clearly, Mike Hussey’s game hasn’t seen a dip in form and flair. If he plays again, he is all set to rule the roost!
