1. Sunny Gavaskar – Rohan Gavaskar

He accumulated around 13,000 international runs which included 34 Test centuries. Gavaskar’s legacy was his resilience against the famed West Indies bowling unit.

For a cricketer who influenced many Indian youngsters to take up the game, Gavaskar was not able to guide his son, Rohan Gavaskar to great heights. Though he was constantly racking up good scores for Bengal in Ranji Trophy, the left-hander never made the leap to test cricket where his father thrived.

Due to his all-around abilities, Rohan was lucky enough to make the cut to the ODI team in the early 2000s. He played just 11 games for India which clearly shows that unlike his senior he lacked the temperament at the big stage.
