5 Talking Points of the Bangladesh v South Africa 2nd ODI: After losing the first ODI in a rather tormenting fashion, Bangladesh did manage to comeback strongly in the second ODI against South Africa and even proved out to be the better of the two teams at the end. It was rather a demoralising batting performance from the Proteas, who opted to bat first after winning the toss. The batting collapse led South Africa to get bowled out at the score of just 162 runs on the board. In reply, Bangladesh cruised onto the target and ensured a swift and emphatic victory to keep in run for the series win. The 19-year old pacer, Mustafizur Rahman used his variations exceptionally well while maintaining a decent line and length. He stood to be the pick of the bowlers for Bangladeshis and took 3 wickets by conceding 38 runs in his 10 overs. On the other hand, Mashrafe Mortaza and Rubel Hossain also bowled charmingly well and did not provide any room whatsoever for the South African batsmen. Nasir Hossain, Shakib Al Hasan and Mahmudullah managed to keep things tight for the batsmen by their effective turn and bounce. He remained unbeaten at the score of 88 runs off 79 deliveries with 13 fours and a six. Owing to his destructive innings, South Africa failed to find the minimal of the chances to win the game. He was also adjourned as the Man of the Match. 5. Blunt bowling from the Proteas: Defending a target of 162 runs needed some brilliance with the ball. But the South African bowlers found it difficult to keep things tight. They were way too much expensive and did not manage to create the least amount of chances for the team. Though Rabada managed to pick up 2 wickets in his 7 overs but conceded a total of 45 runs. Chris Morris was expensive. Imran Tahir did try to create some amount of pressure but it was not enough when you are defending 162 runs.
