The most shocking thing that happened since MI last won a game in IPL, is that India’s winning streak against Pakistan in the World Cup history ended in a one-sided affair. The Indian team lost the T20 World Cup 2021 fixture against Pakistan by failing to defend their total of 151 runs.

India was rocked by Shaheen Afridi’s brilliant spell of bowling with the new ball, as he took important wickets of KL Rahul, Rohit Sharma, and Virat Kohli. The team could not recover and could only post a respectable score, with Kohli scoring a half-century.

In response, Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan scored half-centuries to help Pakistan win by 10 wickets. Ahead of this fixture, India held a dominating 12-0 edge over Pakistan in the World Cups, comprising 50-over and 20-over format matches.
