2. Jadeja’s furious reply to Sanjay Manjrekar
The phrase ‘bits and pieces’ went viral during the World Cup earlier this year. It was used by Sanjay Manjrekar to describe Ravindra Jadeja. The cricketer turned commentator was asked about Jadeja’s inclusion in the XI after Indian spinners went for plenty against England. It was then Manjrekar said he was not a fan of ‘bits and pieces’ cricketers like Jadeja.
Jadeja couldn’t take this and was furious. In fact, the Indian all-rounder took to Twitter to express his anger and give the current commentator a piece of his mind. He said that he has played twice the number of games than Manjrekar and the latter needs to learn to respect other people’s achievements.

He was all over Twitter after he put out the tweet. Twitterati backed by him as well. The Saurashtra all-rounder who warmed the benches for nine straight games before he got to play in India’s final group game against Sri Lanka. He then went on to play the semi-final against New Zealand and almost won India the game with the bat.
