5. Jason Holder
Although Jason Holder is a very invigorating name when it comes to the longest format for the West Indies, the speedster is one elusive West Indian cricketer who had made his IPL debut before his T20I. Regardless of representing sides like the KKR and the SRH, Holder actually made his debut in the 2013 IPL season for CSK.
The West Indian pacer was tried by the CSK camp for six IPL games in 2013 where Holder hardly fetched any success. Even in the next season, Jason had a difficult time as in a single IPL game he leaked runs at an economy of 11.66. But in that same year before the IPL 2014, in January, the Barbados-born cricketer had made his T20I debut against New Zealand in Wellington.
Jason Holder, since his T20I debut, has merely played 20 T20Is for the West Indies and is predominantly well-known for his craft in the red-ball format. However, in the last IPL season, the SRH camp had bagged him to replace the injured Australian all-rounder Mitchell Marsh. Hence in that season for SRH, the WI skipper actually became a revelation wherein in his 7 matches he scalped a total of 14 wickets at an economy of 8.32. Recently, Holder was also seen playing against Sri Lanka in T20Is.
