One of the events the Indians will hold with most disgust is the 2007 Test at Sydney in Australia. The previous series in Australia had seen the Indians come close to victory in the series. Although they would go on to only draw the series 1-1, it was clear that something had to be done.

Sure enough, Steve Bucknor and Bruce Oxenford made decisions that were out clearly to the naked eye. However, the fact that they made those decisions ensured that Bucknor would never officiate again. Oxenford has pleaded guilty and paid his dues to the cricketing fraternity and is officiating currently.

The Sydney Test also saw India threaten to pull out of the tour in light of what had taken place. Moreover, the fact that the Indians clinched a win in the subsequent Test match at Perth saw them show their fighting spirit.
