This may come as a surprise considering the fact that there are the likes of MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai and the IS Bindra Stadium in Mohali. However, the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad has received a lot of praise for its high turnout.

In fact, the Indian captain Virat Kohli himself has applauded the Hyderabad crowd. After the Test match against Hyderabad in early 2017, Kohli was all-praise for the crowd that turned out to support the Indian team. Hence, Hyderabad could be one of the premier Test venues.

It would be a massive achievement for the venue as it made its Test debut only in 2010. Moreover, after five Test matches, India have remained unbeaten at this ground (four wins and a draw). Thus, considering the turnouts for Test cricket and India’s excellent record, Hyderabad may also be one of the Test centres.
