2. Lubricate the friction between the Board and players:
When cricket Boards and players fall out none of them actually lose. It is cricket which suffers. The players association needs to communicate with the board’s representatives on regular occasions. Ego needs to be left in the background and interest of the game should take centre stage in such discussions. Factionalism within the team needs to go away and that requires appointing a leader who is not only strong but widely acceptable.
