5 West Indians to watch out for in World T20
2. Darren Sammy:
Darren Julius Garvey Sammy has names invoking images of great leadership, and in October 2010, he became the first international cricketer from St Lucia and also the first to be named West Indies captain. Rather fittingly, in what was a highlight of his career, he went on to lead West Indies to their first world title since the 1979 World Cup with a stirring victory over hosts Sri Lanka in the 2012 World Twenty20 final. The ever smiling Sammy is a huge hitter of the cricket ball and a proven finisher in limited overs cricket. He is a very handy bowler as well who uses subtle changes of pace to deceive batsmen. His 60 T20Is have produced 526 runs and 43 wickets. His leadership skills are also top notch and he will look to bag a second title for this team.
